Another successful Ph.D. defense! |
2017 May 29 — I'm super excited to announce that Leah Huk, my second Ph.D. student, successfully defended her dissertation this month! Her title is "Time-Lapse Spectropolarimetry: A New Tool for Constraining Progenitors of Core-Collapse Supernovae," and her work focuses on computational modeling of emission line polarization signatures in interacting supernovae. We were very pleased to welcome Dr. G. Grant Williams of the University of Arizona as a guest committee member. Leah will continue to work with our group while investigating postdoctoral research opportunities. Big congratulations to her!
