Figure 2b. Polarization spectra in the Q-U plane of our eight WIYN observations of MWC 1080, uncorrected for interstellar polarization. The spectra are sorted by phase (0.xxx) rather than chronologically (yymmdd) and binned to constant errors, which are different for each observation. The circles represent the blue ends of the spectra (around 4600 Angstroms), the triangles represent the crossover between the blue and red gratings (around 6500 Angstroms), and the crosses represent the red ends of the spectra (around 9000 Angstroms). Figure 2a shows the same data sorted chronologically.
